Kenya, likes its neighbour Tanzania – is well known for its awesome wildlife and fantastic coastal beaches. Like many African countries, there is occasional political unrest, however this never interferes with the tourists areas nor wildlife. With the Equator dissecting the country, its other neighbours include Lake Victoria, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia, however we do not send our clients into the northern parts of Kenya, thus we avoid any possible conflict with the northern neighbouring countries.
Nairobi is the city where most tourists will fly into when going on a safari in Kenya, and we have a number of well-established hotels in this city to offer our clients, before or after their safari holiday to the most famous, Masai Mara Game Reserve – famous due the much filmed mass migration of zebra and wildebeest. Other awesome wildlife areas on a longer itinerary will include the Amboseli National Park – offering views of Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro, Tsavo National Park – also offering views of ‘Kili’, and then the Lake Nakuru and Naivasha to the north west of Nairobi. Your beach holiday could be on the South coast of Mombasa or in the Watamu or Malindi Marine National Parks.
As the mass migration is a year-round event, it is always great to combine a safari in Kenya with portion of the safari include the Serengeti Plains and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, such as our “Best of East Africa” safari.
